Welcome back again, soul bards and lovelies,
What have been your breakthroughs that made your glass ceiling become your glass bottom?
It has been a weird (Fated?) week and a half. Instead of doing weekly or every ten days, I’m back to doing these newsletters akin to a goal of “as long as at least one is sent this month, depending on what is going on.”
A lot has changed. As I was told a few years back, "There’s going to be a series of them. Get ready” long term. That reflection has helped to make the last few days at least feel lighter.
I am honored to announce that an anthology I shared one of my poems in alongside fellow authors on YouTube, Beltane: An Anthology, has been holding a #1 in Religious Fiction Anthologies for a few days. Please feel welcome to share and check it out here? https://a.co/d/5LW0jPe
As far as other business items, I have a few editing tasks for clients on deck this month, and I am thrilled, overjoyed, and honored to be working with them. I’m quite enjoying writing Book 6: Legacy of Lyric and Time. Korrin and Adira are a hoot and a half. Seeing Nephtyri finally become “Doc Sin” is making me smile more than I have in a year while working on my own things.
There’s a BUNCH of pre-orders coming out later this year, too! I told you I was busy last fall with all the revisions and things.
Check my linktree for these preorders and the universal links to eBooks and paperbacks for Season 1!
It starts with The Winged Ones in June, then Pearl and Gold in July, then Six Weeks but Three Years in September, then we’ll see how many more are out by the end of the year between Silces and Sheets, Daughter Forever, and Grace and Ptolemy. That’s right. I have a total of six Merna Annals Side Quest books to share. Not to mention I have most of another, mini-series, side-quest coming out soon after that called VITAELANGICA that directly affects and is interwoven with Season 2.
I am very thankful Rachel is helping us with the blurbs, and while I have covers for most of the side quests mentioned above, I do not yet have a cover I am open to sharing with Book 6 YET. However…
I have been adding updates to my IG/FB/YT on occasion. Check them out through my linktree, noted above, for more routine ganders? This one here is affected by the Side Quest, Grace and Ptolemy.
April has been about abundance, learning lessons, reinforcing boundaries, and being okay that I am not everyone’s cup of tea, while also leveling up in multiple areas at the same time. As my brother George used to say, “You’re not going to fit in everyone’s walk of life, so stop trying to make your shoe sizes match. You have your feet for a reason. They have their feet for a reason. Focus on you, put one foot in front of the other, and you’re going to be okay, kid.” If he were alive, he’d probably be saying the same thing on random videos everywhere in my content with me. That’s his big heart coming through the soles (soul?) of his feet, I guess.
Some people have noticed I’m healing out loud for the first time in my life instead of being the kind, sweet, quiet Jenna, who often ended up being a doormat afraid of telling even her closest friends and family, “Stop walking all over me.” Am I still her? Well, yeah, I am a student of this path as ever.
The reframe started with, “I want to use that energy in other ways.” Instead of putting myself in writing blocks of self-doubt over not having _____ in my life, I’ve learned to breathe. Take the lesson (THAT is what L stands for, not loss). Move on.
Given some things that went on in my personal life in February and March that I won’t talk about here, I learned to appreciate the sentiment of, “I appreciate what you’re going through is tough, and my circus needs your monkeys to go back to your circus for a bit, so I can get my monkeys under control again.” In other words, we can’t help others if we don’t help us along the way.
In the whirlwind of move after move after move the last few years, I relearned the last part the hard way. Sometimes, to gain abundance, we review what we forgot or did not learn the first time. Gotta fill in those missing links of learning, right? Right.
I mean it with love and care, not mean girl face. It is legit 100% judgement free okay that people are a season to teach lessons in our lives. That’s why April’s Abundance comes in with what we need to let go of.

When I was doing my stream for HeartBreathings’ Double Down Day, I drew this card. Not even half an hour later, my local internet provider had a county-wide (+ a little more) outage. Was I upset? I almost took it as a sign to leave.
Then, I re-read the bottom line. I heard my business and life coach say in my head, “What if your glass ceiling just became your glass bottom? How can you adapt? There’s a transformational language opportunity here.”
A stream so good, it broke the internet is where my first thought went, yet that was not quite right. What’s better than broke? The answer, student, is in the question. Re-read the prompt.
Transformed.
What if this was a stream so good it transforms my business?
Like lightning striking wood… or in Ian’s case, bouncing around the inside of a cave, it still has an effect.
Okay, Divine. You have my attention. What are we all transforming? What are we letting go of, so that we can embrace the amazing, beautiful spring ahead in all of her blossoming glory?
I am no longer who I was. That is okay. I am still learning who I am. That is okay. Welcome to spring.
All my hugs,
Jenna OM

A writer friend is doing a Kickstarter—help her get to her goal and more!
Do you love fantasy with political tension, deadly magic, and unraveling secrets?
Are you drawn to broken royals, sharp alliances, and quiet rebellion?
What if your greatest enemy was someone you trusted?
The Isel Queen is dead. The mines lie unprotected. As nations clash for power, something darker stirs.
Aster Rigdon uncovers a betrayal that cuts deeper than she imagined. Prince Markus Whitlock, trapped in a forced alliance, finds survival may depend on the very person he’s been ordered to marry. And Lady Fazune Mennan, surrounded by spies and shadowed magic, faces a choice that could shift the fate of an empire.
But the worst is still to come.
After the Jasden King gets his wish—through blood and reckoning—everything begins to fall apart.
Prince Markus fights a battle on all fronts—within his kingdom, his fragile marriage, and the shifting tides of allies. But when an unexpected figure returns, bringing dangerous secrets to light, everything he thought he knew begins to unravel.
And Fazune? She’s done playing by their rules. Forced into exile, she vanishes into the unknown. When she returns, she won’t be the same.
Chains. Secrets. Betrayals.
And a final reckoning that will decide the fate of the continent.

What a great way to look at abundance. Thanks, Jenna! My cards have also been telling me I've something to let go of and move on. The message is finally coming through and not sure if it's the bottom or the ceiling yet, but the ride sure is fun! Congrats on the anthology. And your covers are capital A Amazing! My Rough Draft Challenge word count isn't quite up to par - yet. Birthday kind of got in the way. Hope to catch up, with words, and you, soon. All the best in your Spring of Abundance❣️
