Heyya, lovelies. Oh, Goddess. Where do I start?
March 23, 2023 is going to arrive faster than we think. I decided to celebrate… by faceplanting into our bathroom wall. Oh so conveniently where the shower pipes’ access panel sits. Needless to say, the access panel’s wooden frame won. The scratch on my face and the huge bruise are a lovely shade of rose pink and royal purple.

I’m okay, but whacking my head as hard as I did while home alone during the workday brought on a great deal of reflection. Life can truly be taken away in a second, and I want to accomplish so much before that time comes. I value my noggin for all the thinking it does to keep me and my loved ones going. I wouldn’t know how to reframe my life if one, solid bonk on my head took away all of my willpower or ability to write.
Once my husband came home from work, he found me standing in front of my Kanban board with tears rolling down my face.
“What’s wrong!?”
“I’ve done so much since we’ve moved here. I’ve done more in three months than I’ve done in previous quarters of being an author. I might actually be able to do this.”
It’s all coming full circle. Why? Sarra Cannon and her HB90 system deserve much of the credit. I love planning (nee, tis required as an effective teacher, methinks). This program took all I thought I knew as a planner and turned it into something epic. HB90 enrollment is open until the end of the week. If you want to join me and others to prepare for Quarter 2 2023, please consider my affiliate link? This is not just for teachers and creatives. Business owners can highly benefit from it in many ways.

What else is on the horizon, considering my face and brain are safe and planning ahead so far into the year?
Even though Book 1: Bound by Fate and Blood is launching on Kickstarter on March 23, 2023, I’m spending April 2023’s Camp NaNoWriMo drafting the first manuscript to Book 5: Bound by Lyric and Time.
Harumi, GorGor, Ian, and Nephtyri are dragging Aryeh along, screaming and complaining all he pleases. To help fellow writers prepare, I’m hosting two workshops and some Soul-Care Sunday sessions on my YouTube channel. Please feel welcome to join us for the ride?

Thank you for reading, lovelies. Please take care of yourselves. I know you’re worth it!
Blessings be,

P.S.:
I realized I might be spending Camp NaNoWriMo July 2023 drafting The Merna Annals (Side Quest 1): Aryeh and the Winged Ones. In the past, I’ve referred to this anthology of short stories, short shorts, flash fiction, and poetry as the “Secret Book 5.5”—and some of you who have been around this newsletter long enough have read some of the entries! Would you be interested in seeing those stories again in the future? Let me know!
