Workshops Ahead, Me Lovelies!

Overachiever me is planning for CampNaNo April early...

How have you been as of late, lovelies? Is it me, or does this year seem to fly by at one second and drag onwards during the next? Either way, it’s getting to be that time again when I’m talking about preparing to draft a new manuscript. That’s right, April is a matter of weeks away—and I have Camp NaNoWriMo on my mind.

Since I started publishing back in 2021, I’ve started taking Camp NaNoWriMo more seriously in the springtime. Instead of planning prom and graduation for the junior and senior students at my day job, I’m spending my creative focus this upcoming quarter on five character perspectives: Nephtyri, Ian, Aryeh, GorGor, and Harumi. That’s right. The Merna Annals’ pentalogy will receive a new rough draft manuscript… for the last time. We’re walking into the start of planning Bound by Lyric and Time with quit a bittersweet hitch in our step.

Since I am starting to plan for this journey so early, I am offering people a chance to join me along the way and right from the beginning. As part of my writing coach services, I’m offering four workshops between this weekend and the end of March. We’re going to get some groundwork taken care of before Camp NaNo sends our fingers flying across keyboards. What’s going on and when? Writing Book 5: Bound by Lyric and Time is going to be interesting. I have learned so much since I started this journey with Ian and Nephtyri so, so long ago. Care to join us for a final ride aboard the Lusty Strumpet? I have a feeling I’m going to get emotional by the end of April. I now understand why some people compare finishing a series to raising a child: they’re different types of emotional roller coasters!

I cannot wait to teach you all of my secrets to creating this world and its characters. See you soon, and as always…
